Saving Lives.
At Pawraana, we believe fashion can be beautiful, sustainable, and compassionate. Crafted by talented artisans in Jaipur from recycled fabrics, our collection — including tote bags, yoga mat bags, backpacks, and unique pyjama sets — are made with love and purpose.
Every purchase supports street dogs in India, with a portion of every sale donated monthly to shelters caring for vulnerable animals. Join us in making a difference — one stylish, eco-friendly item at a time.

The Founder’s Story: Why Pawraana Exists
I saw what I could not ignore.
From 2005 to 2011, Delhi was my home. While I traveled India extensively—falling in love with the country's vast landscapes and ancient traditions—it was in the bustling heart of Delhi where I lived alongside a reality that was impossible to overlook: the plight of the "Indie" street dogs. In 2006, I rescued my first street dog, and my life was forever changed.
For 19 years, I have been a voice for those who cannot speak. Throughout my travels, I saw a beautiful parallel between the resilience of the local artisan crafts I discovered and the resilience of the animals I fought to protect.
Pawraana was born from a refusal to look away. It is the culmination of nearly two decades of advocacy—a brand that turns the heritage of hand-screen printing and block-printing into a sustainable sanctuary for animals in need. We don’t just create beautiful things; we create a practical purpose for every purchase.
We donate 10% of sales to verified animal shelters in India. These funds go directly toward medical care, vaccinations, and feeding programs for ‘Indies’ (local street dogs).
Our primary partner is KAW Animal Welfare, due to our long standing relationship and their transparency and incredible track record in animal welfare. We have also visited and support Saviour of Distressed Animals in Delhi, and Help in Suffering Jaipur, where our products are handmade.
We prioritize eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton, recycled metals, and and plant-based dyes. By choosing slow fashion, we reduce waste and ensure that your accessories have a minimal footprint on the planet.
Every piece in our collection is ethically handcrafted by artisans in India. We work directly with small-scale producers to ensure traditional techniques are preserved and fair wages are paid.
Since many of our products use natural dyes and delicate hand-embroidery, we recommend gentle spot cleaning or hand-washing in cool water. Specific care instructions are included on each product page.
